From the work

Practical Energy Industry Knowledge.

What I've learned in more than 15 years and six utility setups. Short and concrete.

Focus topics

Topics I take on as mandates.

BNetzA, balancing groups, market communication – the regulatory requirements are complex and the sequence is critical.

Location, grid connection, and revenue model determine success or failure of a battery storage project.

GPKE, MaBiS, electricity labeling, reporting obligations – mistakes here cost months of delay.

Ruling of 1 October 2026: delineation option, flat-rate option up to 30 kWp, transition until 30 September 2027.

Background from 15 years of practice. Not service areas of their own, but knowledge that feeds into storage and market-entry projects.

Yield calculation, grid connection, self-consumption – where most projects lose money unnecessarily.

Spot market, futures, portfolio – without a clear procurement strategy, energy trading becomes a risk.
